What's inside the bin?
Every LEGO set is carefully packed in a sturdy bin. Inside you'll find smaller containers with bricks sorted by colour. When there are many bricks of the same colour, we also organise them by brick type. Each lid has a picture of the contents so you can always see what belongs where at a glance.
We designed this system to make building—as well as taking everything apart—as easy as possible. That way you can focus on the fun, and we can quickly check that the set is complete before it goes out on rent again.

Frequently asked questions
About renting with KlossHyra
No, you don't need a membership to rent from us. Simply choose a LEGO set, rent it for the period you want, and then decide whether to extend or switch to another build.
Take a look at the How it works page. We explain step by step how renting LEGO with KlossHyra works, from ordering to returning.
As long as you like! If you extend on time, you can keep the set for as long as it's available.
Yes, you can extend it easily from your account page so you can keep building without rushing.
Extensions are charged at the normal weekly rental price. On your account page you choose how many weeks to add and you immediately see the price.
At the moment you can't reserve sets for a specific date. We never know exactly when a set will be returned or extended by another renter, which lets you build and extend without time pressure.
You can rent up to two LEGO sets per person at once so the selection stays fair for everyone.
You can pay via Swish or Bankgiro. We prefer Swish because the payment is processed immediately, letting you enjoy the LEGO set sooner. All prices include 25% VAT.
Shipping and pickup
Your rental period starts the day the set is ready for pickup at the parcel point or collected from us.
Shipping costs 275 SEK, which covers both sending the set to you and returning it.
A few days before the end of your rental you'll receive email instructions on how to send the set back. Drop the box off at any parcel point and use the QR code from the email—no need to print a label.
On the last day of your rental period. If you picked up the set on a Saturday, send it back no later than the Saturday at the end of your rental. You'll receive an email reminder.
Let us know as soon as possible at info@klosshyra.se. We'll work together on a suitable solution. Late returns may incur additional daily rental fees and reasonable administration costs.
Yes, you can pick it up by appointment in Ransäter (Värmland). Choose the Pick up option when ordering.
If a package stays at the parcel point or is refused, we consider it a cancellation after shipping. The full rental price is still due because the set was reserved and shipping costs were incurred.
Our service is available only for addresses within Sweden. If you live in Sweden, you can rent from us no matter where you are in the country. Unfortunately, we’re not able to deliver to other countries at this moment.
Cancellation and right of withdrawal
Yes, you can cancel for free as long as the set hasn't been shipped yet. Contact us at info@klosshyra.se. Once the package is on its way, the rental period applies and the rental price remains due.
Because this is a temporary rental, the right of withdrawal no longer applies once the set has been delivered and the rental period has started. Before shipping, you can always cancel for free.
During the rental period
You receive the LEGO set in a sturdy, sealable plastic box. Most of the LEGO bricks are sorted into trays so you can build in an organised way. Smaller or special parts are packed in labelled grip bags to make returning easier. You'll also get brief instructions and, if you selected it when ordering, a printed manual.
Use the set at home for private use only. Don't mix the bricks with your own LEGO, and keep food, drinks and moisture away from the building area. Use the supplied brick separator to remove pieces—avoid sharp objects or teeth. Never leave small children (under 4 years) unattended with the set due to choking hazards and the risk of losing pieces.
Yes. After use, we ask you to disassemble the set and sort the pieces in the same way as you received them. This allows us to check the set quickly and prepare it for the next renter.
That depends on the size and difficulty. As a rule of thumb, plan for 3 to 4 hours per 1,000 bricks.
Allow about 1 to 1.5 hours per 1,000 bricks, using the included brick separator.
Yes, every set includes a brick separator.
No, battery-powered sets are delivered with rechargeable batteries. Please don't recharge them yourself; we do that after return so they're ready for the next renter.
Yes, all LEGO is regularly cleaned and checked by hand so everything stays hygienic and tidy for the next builder.
Not by default. Printed instructions wear out quickly and are less hygienic for frequent use. You can choose to add them for a small extra fee when ordering. Digital instructions are available on the LEGO website or in the LEGO Builder App (App Store or Google Play).
Parts and completeness
It's a common question! Checking every set 100% would take a lot of time and significantly increase the rental price. We do check that all important parts are present and weigh the trays to confirm that the set is largely complete.
Missing a part while building? Scan the QR code included with the instructions in the box. You will automatically be guided through reporting it. If it’s an important part that prevents you from continuing, we will send it to you as soon as possible. Have you lost a part yourself? Please let us know via the QR code as well. We will replace small missing parts later. Only for expensive parts or minifigures we may contact you about the costs.
We understand that accidents can happen. Please report any damage directly to info@klosshyra.se. Small scratches or missing pieces are considered normal wear and tear. You can also scan the QR code included with the instructions in the box to report damage. For major damage or heavily soiled sets, costs may be charged for repair or replacement.
If a set isn't returned after reminders, it's treated as unlawfully retained property. In that case we may file a police report and charge the replacement value of the set.
If we find missing parts or sorting errors when the set comes back, we'll contact you to work out what's needed. Most of the time we solve it easily by adding parts or re-sorting something, keeping the set complete for the next builder.
Buying and selling
Yes, sometimes we sell sets. Send us an email at info@klosshyra.se to ask if your set is available for purchase.
